## Icon Design for Your App

I thought my UI was messy because of the layout. Turns out, it was the icons. I just realized how much icon style can actually affect a UI. To me, a UI is basically the interface between a human and an app, and small details like icons can make a surprisingly big difference. At first, I went with line-art icons. But after using them in a few different parts of the app, they started to feel kinda messy and inconsistent.

I started wondering: is the stroke weight too thick? Is the contrast too high? So I tried switching to filled icons, and honestly, the UI immediately felt cleaner and more organized. I also experimented with thinner stroke weights, but that didn’t really work either. Once the stroke got too thin, the icons started losing clarity and became harder to recognize.

It’s kinda crazy how something as small as an icon style can completely change the feel of a UI.
